Hoover,
Red, Yellow, Purple and Pink were released
successfully back to the wild on September
16, 2001. It was a happy note for us,
during a time we all were in shock over
the tragic events of September 11th. The
ladder in the photo was used to prepare
the den box which we installed about 9
feet up in a tree. -->

got the better of Hoover, and he fell
in.

Hoover
at the "soft release" feeder. This feeder
provides a supplimental food (dry dog
food) source during the time the raccoons
become accustomed to their natural
environment and learn to find their own
food supply. -->

Update 11-16-01*******************
Our
spotters have observed that Hoover, Purple
and Red are still hanging around. Yellow
and Pink have apparently separated from
the group. We miss them......
